My Dad always told me, that AC/DC was much better with Bon Scott in it. And made sure I heard the difference 😁

I grew up with his songs and Bon was the hero of my youth. Every time I hear his voice, it brings back good memories to me.

If you are genuinely interested in what happened to Alistair Kinnear, if you google 'press reader Bons mate feared dead' you will see an article in the Herald Sun, Australia,a photo of Alistair Kinnear stating how he went out on his yatch and disappeared. This was 2006ish and seven years later he was presumed dead as his body was never found. His son believes it was foul play and said so in a newspaper article. The original newspaper articles about Bons death are very sparse, and the people there at the time, witnesses and friends, contradicted each other. ACDC were virtually unknown to the general public so the papers didnt give really detailed reports. Incidentally, you jokingly say conspiracy theorists say Bon drove his car off a cliff, well you are getting confused as it was Vince Lovegrove who drove his car off a cliff. Thats a fact.

I would like to add is that Bon Scott also had a near-fatal heroin overdose in 75'. The band actually thought of kicking him out then. And his last hours of his life will always be a mystery; I feel his lifestyle warranted that exit from this world, that people expected and were not surprised by his way of passing, hence the whole lack of an enthusiastic investigation. There is a great epic book called Maximum Rock N Roll that details the account pretty well. RIP Bon and thanks for this episode!!

I visited Overhill Road on the evening of Feb 19th 2010, 30 years after his passing, as I worked in South London at the time and thought it was a good opportunity to go. I met a Russian guy and a Swedish guy there and we paid our respects, we then went and found a pub to toast Ronald Belford Scott.
A winter night here can be very cold, plus 67 Overhill Road is literally near the peak of a hill so exposed to the elements a little more. Those saying there's no way Bon would've froze, well you have no way of being so sure.
A few years after this I had a chance meeting with the daughter of Pete Way of UFO, Bon's friend who was with him that fateful week. We had a really interesting chat.
Finally, Alistair Kinnear was not a pseudonym, he existed alright and went missing in 2006

Alistair Kinnear was a real person. That name wasn't an alias. Some writer named Clinton Walker floated that bullshit notion that the guy that found Bon was using an alias and it's fueled more stupid conspiracy. He really did a number on Kinnear, and his family's, reputations so he went into hiding.
The Last Highway, by Jesse Fink, is about the most well researched book out on Bons life and especially his death. It's the only one I've read that doesn't rely mostly on "educated" assumption.
As for Kinnear, he's very real. According to the book, he was living in Spain up until 2005 when a music journalist flushed him out of hiding, and he finally issued a statement on his story concerning Bons death. The next year he and three others sailed from France back to Spain, and never arrived. Unless there's been a declaration of death officially, he's still considered "lost at sea". Proof of this is due to the fact that one of the people on the trip stopped drawing down on their pension around this time. This is the same for Kinnear, as he hasn't drawn down on funds from his family accounts, from which he needed to live,since this time. You guys should read it, I have it on audible. It's great. You'd like it.

Bon was never going to leave AC/DC. He worked too hard and wanted to make it big and Highway To Hell had openned the door and the money was starting to come in. AC/DC were never a heavy metal band. They were and are a Rock'n'Roll band. Bon wrote the Back in Black album lyrics, all except for Hell's Bells, which was a tribute to Bon. Listen to the lyrical style change after the Back in Black Album. Bon Scott's lyrical DNA is all over the Back in Black album. Believe me. I know it to be true ....

Man, cool job on this 85 grave. Must have been kinda auphoric being in the actual place where Bon checked out. The first acdc song I heard was TNT in my cousins holden. Playing super Loud! Changed my life. Anyways, about his passing I think only Bon knows what really happened on that night. He was a wild man like all the other legends who died in a similar way. Let's honour him by turning up the volume on his songs and remember the good times! 😊✌️

I have seen a picture of Bons father and the resemblance is uncanny.

Pete Way of UFO said Bon was in a great mood out partying with him,in his autobiography,because he had finished the lyrics to the new album that would be back in black.There is an upload of Bon singing you shook me all night long in concert before he died he says new song right here and the crowd doesn’t react because they don’t know it and the lyric she had sightless eyes he sings she had chartreuse eyes just like his girlfriend in Miami had said he had written for the lyric there is no way it’s a coincidence that anyone else would sing that line it was him which tells me what everyone says is true he wrote the best selling rock album of all time that’s why his family gets royalties from it and they lied so everyone would accept Brian and secure the future of the band

He lost his teeth in a motorcycle accident not in fights although he did get into fights as well. He was in a coma for 3 days from the accident which also knocked out a bunch of his teeth on his one side of the jaw.

Colin Hay of "Men at Work" would be a perfect front man for ACDC reason being he is Bon Scott of ACDC! Not to take anything away from Brian Johnson and Axel Rose!.
ACDC fans are in for a shock! Bon Scott is alive and well. He is Colin Hay of "Men at Work" Because is it coincidental that they are both Aussies with Ancestral Roots to Scottland???
" The reason why he wanted out! The long time away on tour from his family and the demands of being on the road was more than he could take!
He wanted to make music on his own terms and likewise to go on tour at his own conveinience!
The song "Back in Black" was his resignation to move away from the spotlight!
The lyrics were his signature resignation and the clue to how he would depart from the Band!
"Back in black I hit the Sack! (Bon Scott was referring to how he would be supposedly found dead whlile he was asleep!
and leaving the Spotlight by slowly fading to the darkness of returning back to a life of normacy away from the bright lights!
"I have got nine lives! (He is referring to how he survived many dangerous events a Bike accident, alcoholisn and how he was going to reinvent himself!)
"I have got "Cats eyes" (This is a important clue that he has successfully changed his identity!
And the only way you would ever know its him if you ever saw him again is He had this rare "eye condition" that looked like how a Cat looks around because they would operarate independently of each other and moving in different directions!
Now some people may say wait a minute they have different Birth dates! This is a common practice when hiding ones true identity together with a change of hairstyles!
But I think he still played a active role in the Band with ACDC as a "Ghost Writer"
because every song that ACDC sang after Bon Scotts supposed death sounded like he still had his "trait mark signature" on all of ACDC's songs!
So its up to Colin Hay of "Men at Work" if he wants to come out "the darkness" of "Back in Black" and back into the Spotlight" again to say to his loyal fans and say to them!
"Hey MTF's guess whose back from a "Back in Black" hyatus!
And is there any photos of Bon Scott in a Coffin in a funeral service?? And how many photos does Colin Hay have of himself in his earlier years with him and his family???
The same goes for Morgan Freeman who is actually "Jimi Hendrix" and "Lady Gaga" who is actually "Amy Winehouse!
And is it coincidental that all three just happen to burst on the Social Scene shortly after the supposed passing of these legendary "Musical Icons?????

Dirty deeds was an earlier album and wasn't released in the us until after high way to hell blew up. They released the 2nd album here it didn't do so well so didn't release anymore in the us until highway to hell blew up

Another version goes that Bon met up with a roadie named Joe King...also a drug dealer...who supplied him with "bad" heroine. This was several hours prior to the Music Machine. So Bon might have been on his way to death even before connecting with Kinnear. Guess the full story will never be known

Maybe you two should do your research before putting out a video on someone ? That Fink guy never met Bon Scott he started listening to AC/DC in the 2000s I believe when going through a divorce. The information he got for his book was from investigating and word of mouth . I not going to say to much more about Bon Scott . I started listening to AC/DC back in 1977 and know about as much as anyone . Bon was a great front man and singer with unique writing skills never to be matched .
